Dear VHA Members and Visitors,

The 2006 VHA National College Conference has to be considered an unqualified success. Our group in Columbus, Ohio, May 1-3, represented what could be the largest-ever gathering of collegiate-level premium seat professionals.

A key goal for VHA was to create the conditions for an open and productive exchange of experiences and ideas. All who attended, contributed to make it that, and so much more.

Thanks again to all of our speakers. The quality and diversity of the presentations was outstanding.

To our friends at The Ohio State University, another hearty “Thank-you.” Your support and hospitality via the tours, receptions, suiteholders panel, and other contributions set a great standard for future hosts to observe.

As it is with all great conferences, the broad and active participation of the whole group provided a vitality and sense of camaraderie that we hope continues throughout the year.

This is an association—not just a conference. With input from members, we are preparing to introduce new features on www.venuehospitality.com over the next couple of months. These new tools will allow us to keep sharing news, information, question, and concerns among the membership.

As we look ahead to future VHA National Collegiate Conferences, we have already received several offers to host—not just 2007, but 2008 as well. Taking into consideration your input from the surveys, we look forward to announcing these sites soon.
