 VHA Announces Three Board Members

WEST CHESTER, OH – The Venue Hospitality Association has named three members to its Board of Directors.  The following were selected to join Cindy Harper of Texas Tech to serve on the Board of Directors: Virna Mendoza of University of Georgia, Janie Boles of Auburn University, and Padraic McMeel of University of Central Florida.

Virna Mendoza is the Premium Seating Director for the University of Georgia in Athens, GA.  She manages all of the Premium Seating at Sanford Stadium (capacity over 92,000) and Stegeman Coliseum. In addition she coordinates all special events for Athletic Development; manages the Scholarship Endowment Program for the Athletic Association; and organizes the annual Bulldog Club Dawg Days Tour and serves as a liaison to Bulldog Clubs nationwide.  Virna recently served on the 2006 VHA Conference Collegiate Committee. 

Janie Boles is the Director of Donor Services and Donor Annual Giving for Auburn University in Auburn, AL.  In addition to all Janie’s responsibility for Athletic Development at Auburn, she also manages the premium-seating at Jordan-Hare Stadium, a football stadium with capacity of over 87,000, Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum, and Samford Baseball Stadium.

Padraic McMeel is the Director of Premium Seating & Associate Director of Golden Knights Club at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL.  Padraic oversees the development of the Golden Knights Club, as well as the premium seating for the 45,000 seat UCF Stadium and the 10,000 seat Convocation Center, both are new on-campus facilities that are schedule to open in 2007.
