CVE STUDENT PROGRAM

For those students who schools do not offer this program you can still participate in the CVE. 

CVE is the only comprehensive curriculum that prepares aspiring professionals for certification in the venue hospitality/premium seat market place. 

The program will consist of online coursework, internships, workshops, and facility tours.  This prepares students to seek certification and advance in the venue hospitality industry.

Why should you consider participating in CVE?

Consider these facts:

• Revenue derived from the 20% of premium seating in a new venue is often as great or greater than revenues from the remaining 80% of general seating.

• Per-cap concession expenditures for premium seating are often three times more than that of general seating.

• Average number of "premium" seats in venues increased six-fold since 1990.

• Premium seat industry continues to generate new jobs—not only with teams and existing facilities, also with corporate suite owners, new project developers (often driven by premium seating), and with product and service providers (from food & beverage to technology).

As doctors and engineers supplement a broad education in their field with further intense study of a specialty, so must professionals in the sports industry now embrace targeted specialization in their chosen field.

The premium seating industry offers upwardly mobile, long-term career opportunities for graduates prepared for immediate professional challenges and responsibilities.

Teams, corporations, and venues seek employees with an understanding of the history, current state, and future trends of this key element of the sports and entertainment industries. For most, a sports management degree or MBA with a survey course in venue hospitality is just not enough anymore.

Venue hospitality/premium seat administration, marketing, customer service, and operations are now specialized areas worthy of more than an overview. They drive the largest and most profitable sector within many sports organizations, and in industry as a whole.
